Kobayashi Building Expansion

KBD Group provided design-build services for Kobayashi Building Expansion. This manufacturing project is a significant enhancement to the existing infrastructure. The scope involved a 160,000 square foot expansion of the current warehouse and production space, executed in three comprehensive phases. A notable feature of the project is the construction of a 15,000 square foot mezzanine within the existing framework, alongside the process of unifying two separate structures into a single cohesive building. It required substantial shoring of the current building to ensure structural integrity.
