Kobayashi Building Expansion

KBD Group served as Design-Builder for KOBAYASHI Group Building Expansion. We delivered three new buildings while the facility remained fully operational. The scope involved a 160,000 SF expansion of the current warehouse and production space, executed in two comprehensive phases. A notable feature of the project was the 15,000 SF mezzanine constructed within the existing framework, alongside the process of unifying the new structures into a cohesive building. It required substantial shoring of the current building to ensure structural integrity. Through innovative engineering solutions and phased approach, KBDG delivered a seamless expansion that increased the client’s production capacity.
