KBD Group provided Design-Build services for a vinegar plant. The project scope included greenfield construction for an approximately 15,000 SF state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. We also handled process installation of fermenter equipment, concentration and water filtration packages, and storage tanks. This is the client’s first American production site, marking the start of Burg’s operations in the United States. The fully automated vinegar brewery is capable of supplying the American market with yearly 15 million gallons of sustainably produced natural vinegar for various (industrial) applications.
