SUMMARY                                                                                                                                                                      Plans, organizes, and manages architectural and Engineering Project, including scheduling, budgeting, planning, design and cost control tasks to produce architectural and engineering working drawings and specifications for Industrial and Manufacturing projects and may have the responsibility to assist other offices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Required to manage medium to large size industrial and manufacturing projects.
  2. Collaborates with other design and engineering project managers on a regular basis to determine specific staffing needs.
  3. Participates in work-hour estimates for the design activities, delegates assignments and provides guidance to team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Requires a professional architectural degree (Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree from an NAAB accredited program) and 7-10 years related experience (or equivalent combination of training and related experience work experience).
  2. Strong computer skills. Including, proficiency in utilizing various computer software packages such as Revit, BIM360, and AutoCAD as well as various office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.  Adobe Photoshop and Lumion experience is a plus.
  3. Professional registration is encouraged, but not required.
  4. Knowledge of general construction practices.
  5. Must have experience designing industrial and manufacturing facilities.
  6. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

SUMMARY                                                                                                                                                                      Independently performs detailed phases of design engineering work for a project of moderate size and complexity to design and engineer building electrical power distribution, lighting, building life safety, emergency and UPS, security, paging and low voltage voice and data systems to assure safe reliable and energy efficient design. This requires the application of standard design engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria where the scope is already outlined in the form of contract drawings, specifications, one-line drawings and component estimates derived during the preliminary design process. SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE                                                                                                                                                                    The Project Engineer is responsible for administering all MEP and Process Phases of a project during pre-construction and through construction. Provide engineering support across the entire project team.

  6. Prepare budgeting and estimating including quantity take-offs as needed. Prepare comparative cost analysis and value engineering alternatives.
  7. Communicate with subcontractors both verbally and in writing during the pre-construction phase to explain the scope.
  8. Assist in preparing subcontractor evaluations and scope of work documents. Participate in subcontractor interviews and negotiations.
  9. Assist commissioning process towards hand over of the facility to client.

SUMMARY
It is the function of the Project Manager to manage the Kajima project team on a project (or multiple smaller projects) to ensure delivery to the client of the services committed to by Kajima.

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Project Scheduler is responsible for overseeing all project-scheduling activities for assigned projects. They will be responsible for creating a schedule based on their knowledge and understanding of schedule development and the construction industry, along with input from the project teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Produce conceptual schedules with little or no input from the project team for debate and refinement by the team.
  2. Ideally looking for someone who has experience in scheduling and is familiar with 4D modeling.
  3. Maintain a database of probable schedule durations by activities as well as overall durations.
  4. Development of the baseline overall schedule using well-defined and properly sequenced work activities.
  5. Oversee all project scheduling activities and provide required status updates, forecasts, and reports as necessary.
  6. Develop project schedule layouts in conjunction with the project team, alternate schedules and progress measurement of the schedule.
  7. Reviewing and critiquing Vendor and Subcontractor monthly updates to the schedule.
  8. Verifying that the updates are an accurate representation of the work accomplished.
  9. Understand the flow and logistics needed for the execution of the project.
  10. Supports ongoing projects by working with the project manager and discipline leads on project status, identifying opportunities for improvement, delays and areas where additional concentration is required.
  11. Recommending work around plans to keep the project on track.
