PROJECT OVERVIEW
KBD provided general contracting services for three speculative distribution facilities constructed concurrently totaling over 1.5 million square feet. The buildings ranged in size from 317,000 to 861,000SF with clear heights ranging from 28’ to 33’. Typical bay sizes are 56’ x 50’ (56’ x 60’ bay in the staging area). The buildings included 281 dock and 8 drive-in doors, 745 car and 254 trailer parking, ESFR fire protection, gas-fired 80/20 pressurization heating units, 2 electrical services per building, LED high bay (with motion and dimming sensors) and site lighting, and 6” thick Ductilcrete floor slabs. The building skins included poured on-site tilt-wall concrete wall panels, induction welded “Rhinobond” TPO roof (R19), and aluminum windows with insulated glass.
