He joined Kajima Building & Design Group in 2022 as a MEP Assistant Project Manager I. In July 2024, he was promoted to MEP Assistant Project Manager II. We would like to congratulate David on his continued success at KBD Group!
Question: What is your favorite part of working for KBDG?
My favorite part of working for KBDG is the coordination and planning between trade partners. It’s thrilling to be able to orchestrate the contractors looking for the most time efficient and cost effect way possible.
Question: What does a typical workday look like?
My typical workday looks like a culmination of ensuring safety of trade partners, solving problems between CSA trades and MEP trades, and making sure that all contracted work is up to par with the contract documents/drawings.
Question: What is the most rewarding part?
Being part of the overall project and to see the finishing touches come together for the finished product.
Question: What advice do you have for someone looking to grow their career in a similar role?
Find the problem and get in front of the problem and fix them, because if the problem finds you it will be much costlier and difficult to fix.
