Jason Page
He joined Kajima Building & Design Group in 2019 as a Senior Electrical Engineer. In August 2022, he was promoted to Vice President/Senior Electrical Engineer. We would like to congratulate Jason on his continued success at KBD Group!
Question: What is your favorite part of working for KBDG?
My favorite part about working with KBDG is the opportunity to collaborate with the builders and to get feedback from them on our design.
Question: What does a typical workday look like?
My typical work day involves collaborating with the design team and the construction team to resolve issues that come up due to changes in the field or changes in the design scope, and making sure everything gets coordinated so it can be properly built.
Question: What is the most rewarding part?
The most rewarding part to me is to see the project actually implemented and completed, to actually be able to visualize going from the drawings to the constructed building, and to see what was effective in the design.
Question: What advice do you have for someone looking to grow their career in a similar role?
The best advice I have for someone looking to get in the same position is always to keep learning. You don’t come into this profession knowing everything you need for the job. It’s best to take on new tasks and learn new things about engineering and construction to become a more effective leader.
