With a GDP of $20 trillion and a population of 325 million people, the United States offers the largest consumer market on Earth. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the manufacturing industry totaled $1.6 trillion in 2017, boosting jobs to over 170,000 in United States manufacturing.
